The ethos of the Nursery is a Free-Flow play environment, this means the children are leaders in their own learning. As we are based in a large community hall new activities and toys are brought out daily to encourage learning and spark discussions. We have activities set on tables with chairs to sit down and toys on floor mats so every space is utilized for every child needs.Every month we celebrate festivals, special events and planned extended learning, set as themed weeks.

At The Chelsfield Preschool and Nursery we have the garden open and available to children in all weathers.
