Our Nursery is setting in a large community hall, with access to the garden at all times. The hall is divided by barriers to help create different learning and play areas. 

The barriers are changed daily to give a different outlook as this enables the children to discover different activities around the hall, encouraging them to explore what is available. We also use both play mats and tables with chairs so the children can have different experiences when learning and playing. This also allows independent choices as they can play where they feel most comfortable.

During the day Adult Led activities are run in the hall, these are at a craft table which children can freely join in if they wish to. The crafts are pre-planned based upon our monthly themes to encourage extended learning. Furthermore, the toys are changed over daily so that the children can develop their learning and form friendships when playing.
